Physiological Intra-Cytoplasmic Sperm Injection (PICSI)
A new and better technique in the treatment of male infertility is the use of physiological intra-cytoplasmic sperm injection with hyaluronic acid (PICSI). It involves placing the sperm in a dish that contains hyaluronic acid. If the sperm thrash their tails around and pivot on their heads, they are mature sperm and can be selected for ICSI.
Around 65% of sperm should have high rates of hyaluronic acid (HA) receptors and therefore should react to the hyaluronic acid.
Please note that I do not offer ICSI and this page is for information purposes only. I do however offer acupuncture to assist with the ICSI process.
