Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine

Attilio D'Alberto has been studying and practising acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine since 1999. He graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine from Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. This full time, five year degree program included six months internship at two of the largest hospitals in Beijing, China.

Attilio treats a wide range of conditions, whilst specialising in gynaecological conditions, including infertility and pregnancy care, the treatment of pain and thyroid disorders.

Attilio practices Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine, Moxibustion and Cupping at selected private clinics in Reading and Wokingham, Berkshire.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture is the ancient healing art of inserting very fine needles into specific points along pathways on the body to activate the Qi (vital energy). The flow of Qi can be disrupted by many ways, i.e. emotions, poor diet, overwork, trauma, stress, etc. Acupuncture acts to restore the natural flow of Qi bringing health back to the body, mind and spirit.

Attilio understands that not everyone likes the idea of needles, so he uses the best quality acupuncture needles for a smooth insertion.

Herbal Medicine

Herbs are made up of leaves, stems, bark, roots or seeds. They each have a unique action. Cleverly combined together they perform a multitude of tasks and help bring a holistic balance back to the whole body.
