However, if you feel light-headed, dizzy or tired then you should not exercise after your acupuncture session. Instead have something to eat, rest or have a nap. I wouldn't recommend exercising whilst on your menstrual cycle.
Exercising after having treatment can aid the flow of energy and blood and assist in the acupuncture treatment. A good exercise to reinforce the relaxing effects of acupuncture is yoga or Pilates.
Try not to have a heavy meal or any processed foods 24 hours after your treatment.
