1. Overview
BL 58 — Fēi Yáng (飞扬) — is an acupuncture point on the Bladder meridian. Its English name, Soaring Upwards, reflects the point’s classical character and location. It is used in acupuncture practice as part of channel-balancing prescriptions for a range of conditions.

2. Location
Located 7 cun directly above BL-60 Kunlun, on the posterior border of the fibula approximately 1 cun inferior and lateral to BL-57 Chengshan.

5. Needling
Puncture perpendicularly 0.7 to 1 cun.
Important: Acupuncture should only be performed by a fully qualified practitioner. Never attempt self-needling. All needles I use are sterile, single-use and disposed of immediately after treatment in a clinical sharps container.
