6. Clinical notes
GB 26 is the point on the Gallbladder meridian that corresponds to the Dai Mai (Belt Vessel), named after it. The Dai Mai circles the waist horizontally, binding all longitudinal meridians. When it loses its restraining function, leucorrhoea and prolapse result. Combined with GB 41 (the opening point of the Dai Mai) it is the primary prescription for all Dai Mai disorders.
7. Treatment at my clinic
I use GB 26 as part of tailored acupuncture prescriptions for conditions including PCOS, Endometriosis, Back pain. Each treatment is individually designed following a full TCM assessment.
